Digital stories about the Picturedrome

Here you can find four digital stories that we’ve created about the Picturedrome.  The late Brian Frith MBE remembers his parents being invited to attend the opening night, and himself watching an early form of 3D film.  John Thornell remembers sneaking into the Cinema as a child in the 1930s, and the excitement generated by an upcoming Gorilla Dickson feature.  Finally Adam Fotheringham remembers his earliest impressions of Barton St and the Picturedrome when being recruited by Gloucester Theatre Company.
