Jackie was born in St James’ St and, although she was briefly evacuated to the country to live with Aunts during WW2, she has lived in the City ever since, and at Charter Court for the last 4 years. In conversation with Gordon Barrington she remembers her happy childhood, a varied working life, and her charity work, particularly around rescuing cats.
